Day 02 Colombo – Dambulla – Anuradhapura |

Approximate travel time: 5 Hours After breakfast leave for Dambula. Enroute visit Pinnawala Elephant Ophernage . After visit Dambulla rock cave temple built by king Walagambahu, in the 1st Century B.C. it is a World Heritage Site, and the most impressive of Sri Lanka’s cave temples. Afternoon visit Polonnaruwa to see the the ruins of the Royal Palace, Lotus Bath and Polonnaruwa Statue and visit the Gal Vihare which is splendid statues of the Buddha carved out of rock. Stay Overnight in Dambulla. |

Day 03 Dambulla – Minneriya National Park |

Approximate travel time: 5 Hours Early morning leave for Minneriya National park for the jeep safari. Explore the wildlife and the animales nature. Afternoon relax in the hotel. Stay Overnight in Dambulla. |

Day 04 Dambulla – Sigiriya – Kandy |

Approximate travel time: 5 Hours Breakfast in the hotel. Leave for Sigiriya to climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress which is a World Heritage site of 5th century AD, built by the King Kashyapa. After proceed to Kandy. En route to Kandy visit a specie garden at Matale to learn about species and their use in Sri Lankan cuisines. Evening sightseeing tour of Kandy, such as the Temple of Tooth Relic, an arts and crafts work shop, oriental market place, a bazaar and a gem lapidary, Royal Botanical Gardens. Day 05 Kandy – Knuckels Mountain |

Day 06 Kandy – Pinnawala – Nuwara Eliya |

Approximate travel time: 5 Hours Breakfast at the hotel and visit the elephant orphanage in Pinnawela, established in 1975, commenced with seven orphans. Visit the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya and in the afternoon drive through scenic mountains to Nuwara eliya, well known as “Little England”. Stop at the mountains covered with tea bushes and at waterfalls. Enjoy the magnificent landscape. Visit a tea factory, follow the tea trails to watch the interesting process and enjoy a freshly brewed cup of Ceylon tea. Stay overnight in Nuwara eliya. |

Day 07 Nuwara Eliya – Kithulgala |

Approximate travel time: 3 Hours After breakfast leave for Kitulgala. Travel through a beautiful landscape & see the widest waterfall of Sri Lanka, St. Clair. Enjoy the rich nature. Make a brief Stop at the Tea Kiosk passing the Devon waterfall. At Kitulgala visit the famous site where the great motion picture “Bridge on the river Kwai was filmed. Nature walks to see the bird life and experience the white water rafting on the river Kelani. Stay overnight in Kithulgala. |

Day 08 Kithulgala – Yala |

Approximate travel time: 4 Hours After breakfast leave for Yala. In the evening make a Jeep Safari in Yala. See the Elephants, hidden birds and a perfect place for the photography of these animals. Stay overnight in the camping site Yala. |
